We also manufacturer Silver Hydrogel wound dressings which contain pure elemental silver. These dressings, in addition to providing the absorptive benefits of traditional Hydrogel Dressings, also add the antimicrobial features of silver, as found using in Vitro studies. The cooling effect of hydrogel patches and hydrogel wound dressings is a major benefit to patient comfort and healing. AquaMed Hydrogel patches and Hydrogel Dressings can absorb up to 5x their weight in exudate and can Silver Hydrogel Wound Dressings can remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
Sheet Hydrogel can be used in a variety of applications from wound care, burn care, cosmetic applications, face masks, TENS electrodes, and more. Hydrogel can be produced in sheets cut to size, or as roll stock ready for shipment to a converter.
