Aquamed manufactures and markets electron-beam cross-linked sheet hydrogels and hydrogel patches for use as moist wound/burn dressings with and without active ingredients, components in certain medical devices, transdermal and intradermal delivery of medication, and topical application of non-prescription drugs, other skin care treatments and cosmetics.

In addition, our gels are also used as components for products distributed by our customers under their brand names. In addition to manufacturing hydrogel, we offer customers converting services. The Company specializes in cutting sheet gels to customers’ specified shape, a converting process requiring technological expertise and pouching.

We also offer contract irradiation services. These include materials management and gemstone irradiation.
