PVP Hydrogel Manufacturing

AquaMed produces PVP hydrogel in a variety of formulations to meet customer specifications. These gels may be made on a mesh scrim and are well suited for a wide variety of applications including wound care, burn care, treatment of diabetic sores, TENS and EEG electrodes, transdermal drug delivery, dermatological patches, hydrogel bandages and many more.


Among the key benefits of PVP hydrogel are the properties of non-agressive skin adhesion and moist wound care.


Additionally, we provide our conductive adhesives in PVP hydrogel form and can manufacture in roll stock, or as pre-cut sheets or patches


The PVP hydrogels can be manufactured in varying thicknesses, and delivered as roll stock, or sheets. Our standard sheet sizes include 2"x2" and 4"x4" sheets, but can be manufacture in custom sizes as well.


Because the gel is over 99% water, PVP Hydrogels are well tolerated by patients and are comfortable.
